Celebrating National Aboriginal Day
June 21st marked National Aboriginal Day in Canada: a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. To highlight the important contributions of Canada’s First Peoples and to acknowledge their historical presence as gatekeepers of this land, the Montreal Children’s Hospital’s hosted a special community event on the 2nd floor of the hospital, organized by Sociocultural Consultation and Interpretation Services.
