Caring for the spiritual aspect can play a significant part in the healing process

Caring for the spiritual aspect of a person can play a significant part in the healing process. The professionally trained members of the Spiritual Care department are available to all patients of the hospital and their family members to accompany them in dealing with the spiritual aspects of illness. These can include issues of hope, meaning, grief, guilt, anger, trust and loss amongst others. We can also arrange help with specific religious needs. Our services are available at all times (24/7) through the locating system or your child’s nurse.

There is a chapel located in the hospital (Room A 02.0045), which is always open.

Tel: 514-412-4400 extension 23109, Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

For Emergencies, please ask a member of your child or teenager’s care team to contact us directly, or call the hospital operator at: 514-412-4400 (ask for the Spiritual Care professional on call, who is available 24 hours a day).
