Resident Continuity Clinic

Collaboration and mentorship

The Resident Continuity Clinic is a rotation for pediatrics residents (PGY1-3) where they gain valuable clinical experience in ambulatory pediatrics and learn to manage a pediatrics practice under the supervision of experienced preceptor staff.

At the MCH, residents are assigned to small teams where there is an emphasis on collaboration and mentorship. The program also places residents in community offices and in a satellite clinic at Verdun Elementary School. As residents gain competencies, the number of caseloads and complexity are gradually increased.
