The Montreal Children’s Hospital handles approximately 120,000 visits a year in its outpatient clinics and programs. Most clinics require a referral from the child’s doctor.

Before your scheduled appointment, make sure you have the following:

• Your child’s medicare card and hospital card
• Room number of the clinic (see Departments to search for the location of your clinic)
• Name and contact information of your family doctor or pediatrician (or the doctor who referred your child to the clinic)
• Any questions you may have about your child’s condition
