The Office of the Complaints Commissioner assists patients and their families by investigating and helping to resolve complaints or matters of dissatisfaction.
Most problems can be resolved quickly by talking to the staff in the department concerned. Don’t hesitate to speak to a member of your child’s healthcare team if you have any concerns about the services being provided to you or your child or if you have any suggestions to make.
If you find it difficult to explain your problem, or if you feel that not enough is being done, you can contact the office of the complaints commissioner or ombudsman. The ombudsman assists patients and their families by investigating and helping to resolve complaints or areas of dissatisfaction.
