Contact Information (for parent or guardian)

Esophageal atresia (EA) is a rare disorder of the digestive system in which the esophagus, the tube that usually carries food from the mouth to the stomach, does not develop properly before birth. Our clinic provides EA and tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) patients and their families care and management of complications from these conditions.

Services

All newborns with this malformation are automatically referred to the clinic. Older patients are gradually integrated into the clinic. We also help prepare teenagers who will eventually transition to a specialized adult site.
