Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery

The H.B. Williams Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery Unit at the Montreal Children’s Hospital is dedicated to treating children with disorders affecting the bones of the skull and face.

Services

Treatments include procedures for craniofacial deformities such as:

• Syndromic and non-syndromic craniosynostoses
• Distraction osteogenesis
• Cleft lip and palate repair

We strive to choose the best treatment option for your child while minimizing the number of surgical interventions required. 

We offer orthodontic care including nasoalveolar molding (NAM) to optimize the aesthetic outcome of the surgical repairs.

Our team encompasses the expertise of over 19 specialties to provide a true multidisciplinary approach and state-of-the-art surgical care. Our dedicated coordinator efficiently organizes all tests and consultations for our patients.
