Child Protection

The Child Protection Program works with the hospital’s Department of Social Services and the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Gynecology. Clinical consultation is provided on all inpatient units. Outpatients may be seen in a variety of clinical areas including the Emergency Department, outpatient clinics and the Medical Day Hospital.

Team

Our team includes general pediatric and adolescent medicine specialists, child psychiatrists,  social workers and members of Spiritual Services. Some members have specialized training and/or certification in child maltreatment. The collective experience of our team members is very broad and extensive.
