General practice residency programs

The McGill University Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences provides general practice residency programs at multiple hospital sites, including the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

The goal of this one year program is to give recent graduates a  multidisciplinary approach to the clinical practice of Dentistry in a pediatric setting. Our site offers training in pediatric dental care, with a focus on the medically compromised and special needs populations. Exposure to other specialties, including available at our division include Pediatric dentistryorthodontics, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics and periodontics, is also a major part of the training program.

For more information on the residency program, contact Dr. Edwin Chan.
