When a young patient is dealing with a chronic illness or new diagnosis, they can feel alone, isolated and different. At the Children’s, we’re proud to introduce a new resource called Upopolis: an innovative social media network for young patients aimed to help them connect with others going through similar experiences. Upopolis was recently launched at the Children’s in partnership with our Child Life Services department to help patients stay connected to family, friends and gain access to peer support.
