Prevent summer injuries: top tips to stay safe

I’ve visited the Children’s throughout my illness for a number of different reasons. My arrival at the hospital was incredible and everyone was welcoming. I had to undergo several operations and the staff was reassuring. I felt like they took to heart what I was feeling, because in addition to finding myself in a new environment, I was navigating the unknown of dealing a health problem. In just a few days, the doctors were able to confirm a diagnosis that I had been waiting for over several months.
The hospital itself is filled with colour – it’s hard not to marvel at it all! The rooms are so beautiful you wouldn’t think you were in a hospital, but in a 5-star hotel. My experience at the Children’s was wonderful and if I had to go back, I’d do so without any hesitation.
