RESTRICTED HOSPITAL ENTRANCES – Starting Monday, March 16 at 6 a.m.

15 March 2020

As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, the Montreal Children’s Hospital is taking additional precautions to prevent transmission of the virus in its facilities. For that reason, we must restrict access to our hospital sites and screen staff, patients, families and visitors. Starting March 16th at 6 a.m., everyone should use the S1 and RC (ground floor) entrances (Bloc A/Bloc B).

  • Two (2) parents or one caregiver will be permitted to visit a child.
  • Children coming for a visit to a clinic, a test or a treatment – Two (2) parents or one (1) caregiver can accompany a child.
  • Siblings will not be permitted to enter and should be left at home.

Everyone will be screened at the entrance and asked:

Do you have fever or a cough or difficulty breathing?

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY TO AVOID BEING DELAYED AT THE ENTRANCE.

These measures have been put in place for the safety and health of all.

Thank you for your cooperation.
