Sharon Taylor Ducharme named Montreal Canadiens “Hero of the Game” on December 2

Sharon Taylor-Ducharme, nurse manager of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), MCH was the Montreal Canadiens Hero of the Game on December 2^nd. The Children’s NICU cares for some of the sickest babies in Quebec; premature babies born at 23 weeks, newborns in need of heart or brain surgery, or children born with complex and chronic conditions. Even though she is an extremely busy person, Sharon always takes the time to answer family’s questions or concerns and supports all of her nurses. Sharon’s team of nurses are continuously inspired by her dedication, hard work, positivity and upbeat personality. She is present in all decision-making, and does whatever she can for the hundreds of patients and families who come through the NICU’s doors on a yearly basis. Congratulations Sharon!
