WORKSITE START-UP
By the winter of 2020, the Vendôme intermodal transportation hub will boast a new, universally accessible entrance facility. The new building will feature five elevators and will link the metro station to the public transit system’s (RTM) train station, as well as the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).
Over the coming days, you may notice the area around the Vendôme station bustling with activity. This is because the STM is undertaking various preparatory steps that will allow them to begin building the entrance facility before the end of the year. On tap for this fall:
Throughout this period, bus, metro and train service will continue as usual and access to the tunnel that connects the station to the MUHC will remain open.
Looking ahead, future clients intending to get to the Glen from the metro or train stations will no longer have to go outdoors or make their way through the indoor parking facility.

The project in short:
Direct access to the MUHC from De Maisonneuve Boulevard
Improved entrance facilities for more fluid foot traffic
A modernized intermodal hub, thanks to five elevators connecting to the subway, train station and hospital.
