Social media and netiquette

Social media and netiquette

In an era dominated by digital engagement, social media has become an integral part of our daily lives. As such, MUHC healthcare workers use these platforms to connect with their communities or loved ones and share their thoughts and experiences.

Social media used within a healthcare setting requires a fine balance between communicating your message and maintaining the confidentiality of the subject matter and the MUHC’s reputation. The MUHC communications team believes that it’s important to use social media in a responsible, professional and ethical manner. To keep the conversation positive and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that all comments and replies remain respectful, constructive and follow our Netiquette.

Thank you for helping us create a welcoming online space!
