Feeding Program

The Montreal Children’s Hospital Pediatric Feeding program uses a family-centered and culturally-sensitive approach to assess and treat patients with feeding problems. Children with medical diagnoses, poor weight gain and feeding tube dependence are given priority. A gastroenterologist is available to address specific medical concerns or medications.

  • nutritional changes
  • addressing mealtime behaviours and parental reactions
  • environmental modifications
  • psycho-education
  • behavioural intervention
  • brief psychotherapy for parents
