“In October 2016, we discovered that our two-and a half year old daughter, Livia, would need surgery to treat a bone infection in her right elbow. I was 37 weeks pregnant at the time, dealing with constant contractions while swept up in worry and concern as I watched my baby leave for the Operating Room alone with the medical team. All that worry subsided once Livia’s operation was complete: everything went smoothly and she recovered quickly from her surgery and the infection. The staff members were angels with my little girl, and with me, checking often to see if my contractions were worsening and making sure we were both comfortable. Livia still talks about her time in hospital and asks to see the pictures often. Thank you for everything!” – Claudine, Livia’s grateful mother
