Dr. Geneviève Bernard is this year’s recipient of the Prix d’excellence – Specialist of the Year award for Region 4

The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada recently named Dr. Geneviève Bernard as the 2019 Specialist of the Year for Region 4. A great honour for this Montreal Children’s Hospital pediatric neurologist, who is also a scientist at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and associate professor at McGill University. Dr. Bernard is world-renowned for her expertise on leukodystrophies, which are rare and fatal neurodegenerative diseases.
