The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) has received internationally-recognized accreditation from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). “This achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of many teams across the MUHC,” says Alain Biron, Director of Nursing. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this success—from frontline staff to administrative and support teams. Your commitment to excellence in patient care and cellular therapy has made this milestone possible.”
FACT is a globally respected accrediting body for hospitals and medical institutions offering stem cell transplant services. This accreditation signifies that the MUHC has met the most rigorous standards across the entire spectrum of stem cell therapy—from clinical care to donor management, cell collection, processing, storage, transportation, administration, and cell release.
